About the Board of Selectman

The branch of Government in the Town of East Haddam, Connecticut consist of three Board of Selectman which meet on a regular basis and have meetings on town issues. 

The Board of Selectman is the Executive branch of the town government. The Board is the issuing authority for various licenses and permits. The Board is also the main regulatory authority setting and enforcing policies and regulations. Additionally the Board of Selectman serve as the Board of Health, Personnel Board and Police Commissioners as well as serving on other various committees and boards.
