The East Haddam Emergency Management Core Committee is made up of individuals from all of the first responder organizations in town but would not be able to operate and provide services to the Town without our volunteers.  East Haddam is very fortunate to have such a dedicated group of volunteers who have come forward to be trained in many areas including:  Shelter Operations, Clinics Operations for Dispensing Medications and Amateur Radio Operations.

You do not need to have an emergency experience. There is something for people of all ages and skill levels to do.

We have more than doubled our volunteer base and our goal is to do the same in the years to come.  Please consider joining our volunteer group and becoming trained to assist during an emergency.
