Applications are being accepted for a full-time position within the Town of East Haddam Emergency Services. Applicants must hold current CT certification in FF1, hazmat operations, disease transmission, EMT, CPR, & AED and have a minimum of 3 years of active EMT experience & hold a recent CPAT certificate or be a current Firefighter/EMT with a career fire department for 3 years. Position requires CDL Class II license with a tank vehicle endorsement or Q restriction.
The salary range for this position is $25.72/hour. The position benefits include: $325 boot allowance every 3 years, $600 clothing allowance per year, shift swaps, 5% match on retirement investment, Northwest Firefighters Trust Health Plan and much more. The work schedule allows for being home at night and off weekends. The hours are: week (1) averages 48 hours and week (2) averages 36 hours for an average of 84 hours for 2 weeks.
